"You'll find influences in my writing from around the world, mostly African, Celtic, Classical, Pop, Ambient, Folk, and Jazz. Each Cd emphazies one of these combinations in particular. I have collaborations out on Peter Gabriel's Real World Records. I've also recorded or performed with major English and French solo artists and bands as well as some of the most interesting African musicians around today. I've written Pop and R&B songs for Warners with some of the great songwriters of our time including Dave Stewart of Eurythmics and Desmond Child(Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Ricky Martin, etc). My vocal influences include Joni Mitchell, Annie Lennox, Billie Holiday, Peter Gabriel and my favorite bands and singers range from Radio Head to Neil Finn, Sting to Portishead, Clannad to Massive Attack, not forgetting a varity of African and North African performers."
